Overview

MarketCapy is built with your privacy in mind. We collect only the minimum data necessary to deliver your daily market roasts.

Data Collection

MarketCapy uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to monitor app stability and usage patterns. This helps us improve the app and fix crashes. No personally identifiable information is collected through these services.

Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, your device token is stored on our servers (Supabase) solely to deliver market digest notifications. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings or the in-app frequency selector.

Market Data

MarketCapy fetches market data and AI-generated digests from our backend (Supabase Edge Functions). Coin data is sourced from CoinGecko and cached server-side. No user-specific queries or browsing history is stored.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. No payment information is stored on our servers.

Local Storage

Your notification preferences and app settings are stored locally on your device. Widget data is shared between the app and widget via an App Group container on your device only.
