Overview
Packybara is a package tracking app developed by Rafael Adolfo ("BigRat Studios"). Your privacy matters — here's how we handle your data.
Data We Collect
- Tracking codes: The tracking codes you add are sent to third-party APIs (PacoteVicio via RapidAPI) to fetch shipment status. They are also stored locally on your device via Room database.
- Push notification tokens: If you enable notifications, a Firebase Cloud Messaging token is generated and stored in Supabase to deliver tracking updates.
- Anonymous authentication: Supabase anonymous auth is used to associate your device with your packages. No personal information (name, email) is collected.
Data We Don't Collect
- No personal information (name, email, phone number)
- No location data
- No analytics or behavioral tracking
- No advertising identifiers
Third-Party Services
- RapidAPI / PacoteVicio: Used to fetch tracking data from carriers (Correios, AliExpress, Shopee, Anjun, J&T).
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: Used for push notifications.
- Supabase: Used for anonymous auth and real-time tracking subscriptions.
Data Storage
Tracking data is stored locally on your device. Push notification tokens and package associations are stored in Supabase. All network communication uses HTTPS.
