Lessfeed is built by Rafael Adolfo with your privacy in mind. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what stays on your device.
Data We Collect
When you use Lessfeed, we collect and store the following information through our backend services:
- Profile information: Your name and age tier selection, used to personalize your experience and determine content appropriateness.
- Challenge completions: Records of challenges you have completed, used to track your progress and unlock achievements.
- Content preferences: Your selected interests, used to curate and personalize the content shown to you.
Data We Do Not Collect
Lessfeed does not collect or access the following:
- Location data: We never request or store your geographic location.
- Contacts: We never access your address book or contacts list.
- Browsing history: We do not track your activity outside of Lessfeed.
- Photos or media: Any images or media are stored locally on your device only and are never uploaded to our servers.
Subscriptions & Payments
Lessfeed offers auto-renewable subscriptions (Lessfeed+) for Individual and Family plans. All payment transactions are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment or billing information.
Third-Party Services
Lessfeed integrates with the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Provides our database and authentication infrastructure. Your profile information, challenge completions, and content preferences are stored securely on Supabase servers.
- Perplexity: Used for content generation. No user data is sent to Perplexity — only content prompts are submitted, and responses are used to populate feeds.
- Apple: StoreKit is used for subscription management and payment processing. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle transaction data.
Children's Privacy
Lessfeed is designed for users aged 13 and older. For users in the Explorer and Challenger tiers, parental controls are available to manage content visibility and usage. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. No user data is sold to third parties.
Data Security
Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS) and stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device using secure platform storage.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
