Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using CapyCast, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Use of the App

CapyCast provides weather information and a pixel-art capybara companion for personal, non-commercial use. Weather data is provided by Apple WeatherKit and is subject to availability. We do not guarantee the accuracy of weather data.

In-App Purchases

CapyCast offers optional in-app purchases:

  • CapyCast Plus — a one-time purchase that unlocks additional features including themes, outfits, multiple saved cities, and custom capybara naming.
  • CapyCast Live — an auto-renewable yearly subscription that includes all Plus features plus live weather updates every 15 minutes.
  • Outfits — individual one-time purchases to unlock cosmetic capybara outfits.
  • Tips — optional consumable purchases to support development.

Subscription Terms

CapyCast Live is an auto-renewable subscription billed yearly at the price displayed at the time of purchase. Key details:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Intellectual Property

All content in CapyCast, including pixel art, animations, and design, is the property of Rafael Adolfo and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content in the app.

CapyCast is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Weather data is for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for safety-critical decisions. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the app or reliance on weather data provided.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Apple's Standard EULA

In addition to these terms, your use of CapyCast is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).
