CapyCast is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data.

Data Collection

CapyCast does not collect any data. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that gather user information.

Location Data

CapyCast uses your device's location solely to fetch weather data from OpenWeatherMap. Your location is sent directly to the weather API and is never stored on our servers or any third-party service.

Saved Locations

Any cities you save in CapyCast are stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted or backed up to external servers.

Third-Party Services

CapyCast uses Apple WeatherKit (iOS) and OpenWeatherMap (Android) to provide weather data. These services receive location coordinates to return weather information. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.
