CapyCast is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data.

Data Collection

CapyCast does not collect any data. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that gather user information.

Location Data

CapyCast uses your device's location solely to fetch weather data from Apple WeatherKit. Your location coordinates are sent directly to the weather API and are never stored on our servers or any third-party service.

Saved Locations

Any cities you save in CapyCast are stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted or backed up to external servers.

In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

CapyCast offers in-app purchases and an optional auto-renewable subscription (CapyCast Live). All transactions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment information.

Third-Party Services

CapyCast uses Apple WeatherKit to provide weather data. This service receives location coordinates to return weather information. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

Children's Privacy

CapyCast does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since we do not collect data from any users, children can safely use the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
